Let's cut to the chase

Perhaps you employ a growing team but you can’t justify a dedicated HR resource.

Maybe you lead a successful business (and do an excellent job!) but know you need additional people support to take things to the next level.

Or it might be that your organisation has grown and evolved; the people-management aspects becoming increasingly time-consuming which can feel overwhelming.

You're in the right place.

Mustard HR are a team of tenacious consultants who prioritise an authentic, no-nonsense approach to people challenges.

Lucy Feavearyear founded Mustard in 2019 after realising that there's a real need in business for good, honest HR advice - expertise that comes from years of hands-on experience - and, for a lot of teams, that's not easy to find.

Whether you're restricted by budget or experience, Mustard could be the missing ingredient to your organisation's success.

Lucy is MCIPD qualified (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and has curated a team of brilliant consultants who share her commitment to high standards and integrity with ethical compliance.

As a team of knowledgeable experts, Mustard consultants bring their experience tackling a broad range of people challenges - from workplace mediation to the practical application of employment legislation (and more) and love nothing more than empowering individuals to manage their teams with confidence.

Our Niche

Spoiler: we don't have one!

No one size fits all

Despite all the advice out there to the contrary, we don't niche. We've worked with micro businesses, start-ups and Sole Trader's taking on employee #1, to established internationals employing thousands. We help regular clients on a long-term basis, through both retained or ad-hoc 'pay as you go' arrangements, as well as plenty of 'one off's' and fixed-term cover and projects.

Meet you where you're at

We find ourselves advising business owners, board trustees/directors, senior leaders, management and people teams, supporting clients local to us in Norfolk & Suffolk, as well as those located across the UK. From supporting one-site organisations to those with multiple locations, we often work remotely but we do love the opportunity to work with clients in-person.

The spice of life

We also love the variety of working with clients from a diverse range of industries and sectors. In recent years, we've supported clients in education - from nursery and schools to uni's, not for profit, creative industries and the Arts, construction, leisure, planning, agriculture, retail, manufacturing, tech, healthcare, automotive, business consultancy and food & drink (to name but a few).
