How to get started
Initial Enquiry
From your first contact with Mustard we aim to...
- Respond within 48 hours
- If you've not booked an appointment already, we'll arrange to speak with you over the coming days
- We offer a phone or Teams call (or if you're local, we'll shout you a coffee in-person!)
Free consultation
We offer a free 20-30 minute consultation in order to understand a little more about you, your organisation and what you're looking for. We'll:
- Listen to the reason(s) you've made contact with us
- Ask you a few brief questions to establish your needs
- Summarise our understanding and explain how we think we can assist, including any options
- Explain next steps, including when you should expect to hear from us
Proposal
We'll usually follow up with a tailored proposal, including:
- Estimated timeframes
- Our fee structure
- Our Terms of Business
- The option to ask any questions or request to discuss further
Should you wish to go ahead, you can indicate your agreement via digital signature and we'll get the ball rolling!
Onboarding & Ongoing Support
Once we start working together:
- As a new Mustard client you'll receive an onboarding pack, giving you all the information you might need about working with us.
- Depending on the nature of the work you engage us for, we may ask you to complete some initial 'getting to know you' information to make it easier for us to quickly get started
- Optional check-in's & supportive account management
What we ask of you
We believe in working openly and collaboratively with our clients (and we really hope you share our values). Most of the time, we can crack on with what we've agreed. Occasionally, we may need input from you or a chat to discuss options.
We totally get that you have other priorities (you probably wouldn't have engaged us otherwise), and we pride ourselves on being flexible. All we ask is that communication stays open, so we're all on the same page. If something needs to happen on a tight deadline, it's helpful if you're available - or can appoint someone who is - so we can deliver our best work for you.
